EJIGBO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION
OAU CHAPTER

"Promises are like the full moon, if they are not kept at once they diminish day by day." --German Proverb

Seasonal salutations to all the ever conscious, gallant and progressive members of our noble association.

We the executives of the above named association for the 2017/2018 session, use this time and medium to inform you that there would be our last harmattan semester congress on *Friday 10th August 2018* at *Faculty of Administration Basement* by *5pm prompt*.

We are glad to inform you that there will be welfare packages for all members that would be present at the congress and we are working tirelessly to put things in order for the success of it.

Furthermore, there will be  deliberations on matters affecting our association like: the inability to change the association bank account's signatures, registration of the association which is 94% percent done, competitions (essay writing, quiz, mathematics), lackadaisical attitudes of members toward the association, matters affecting members and any other observations.

More so, we really appreciate those who support us. Things are not really easy for us, but, we do all our possible best due to our dedications and sacrifices towards the association. Also, we endeavour you all to support us at all time and direct or dress us back to the right whenever we seem offtrack. We are doing our best to prove that all that we promised would be fulfilled by God's grace.

Finally, we pray that we will all be prosperous and successful in the upcoming examinations, so, let's not play during the lectures free week, especially our Freshmen.

HISTORY OF EJIGBO AND ITS KINGS.

Akinjole Ogiyan immortalized The interests of children going to their fathers or forefathers to tell and sensitize them on the history of their origin, their land, culture & traditions etc. as well as cultures of other people, seem to have deeply slept if not dead. In this view, a short comprehensive history of  Ejigbo and the list of all Ogiyan or Elejigbo of Ejigbo (Oba of Ejigbo) has been brought to the public by  Ganiyu Ayanniyi M.  for indigenes and non indigenes to know these past leaders till present in order to outshine others in  debate, quiz, or even when someone challenges them anywhere at anytime especially for ELGASITES (Ejigbo Local Government Area Students' Association 'ELGASA' ) Ejigbo, one of the prominent town of the then Oyo State and now of the present Osun state, was founded by Prince Akinjole at about the same time Oranyan founded the old Oyo Kingdom.
