EJIIGBO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION OAU CHAPTER We thank God that let us pass this period of Ramadan successfully. We wish all our members, especially the Muslims, a cool festive period. We pray that we celebrate in harmony, peace, sharing and love, not likely to disunite but promote coexistence between all worshippers for it is believed we all worship a GOD in different manners. Also, we pray God (Allah) the beneficent & the merciful to shower his blessings and mercies upon us and accept all our prayers for his guidance won't lead us astray. (Ameen) Furthermore, we urge ourselves to imbibe accommodating culture to accept and tolerate other worshippers whom are not in one's faith as it's not proper to segregate and only God has the power to judge all. The meeting started at exactly 5:12pm after Com. Olakanmi Odetayo move the motion for the commencement of the meeting. Com Olakunle Oluwaseun led in the opening prayer in the christian way while Hon. Akin led the singing of Ejigbo anthem. The President, Com. Odemakinde Taiwo appreciated the members who saw it as a necessity to attend the first meeting of the session as well as the first meeting being organised by the new administration. He promised and assured that ELGASA OAU will soar higher more than it has been in the past. Also, he promised that the welfare of members will be well catered for. He expressed his dissatisfaction on the delay by the former administration in handling over the financial statement and account to the current administration. He said it has had a crippling effect on the executive body in planning the Freshmen’s Orientation Program. EJIGBO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION OAU CHAPTER Revolutionary Greetings to our respectable members. I use this medium to inform you all that there will be our first meeting on *Friday, 1st of June 2018 by 5pm - 6pm  @Admin. basement*. Also, I wish to let you know that only Mr. Azeez Toheeb Akin has shown interest for the post of *welfare officer* and would be inaugurated within short time if he is unopposed before Monday. Furthermore, the deadline for any member who wishes to serve in any of the vacant posts is now *Monday, 21st May 2018* as any member who wishes to serve in a particular post should make his/her interest know to the public. Note the deadline won't be shifted for whatever reason again. Finally, I implore all members to support us by whatever means whenever they will b needed. To start, we (The incoming executive) salute all our noble members of ELGASA-OAU for their kind encouragement, support, presence and any contribution of theirs that need to be well praised.
